AYESH SACHDEV, founder of The Quirk Box fashion label and The Quirk Box Design Studio made news recently when he dressed Walt Disney’s iconic characters Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald and Daisy Duck in Indian wedding attire using artificial intelligence (AI). Opulent ensembles, jewellery and head gear—the series of images aptly showcased the refined yet maximalist aesthetics of Indian bridal couture but gave it a futuristic edge. Astronaut Bridal Couture Week, Mars Fashion Week, and Bridal Asia and are some of the other intriguing photo series that compel one’s attention towards the overlapping space of fashion, art, and AI.
