Durian trees which are only 6 years old, surprisingly started to bear fruits at the age of 3, and never stop production until nowadays. Such a proud achievement is indeed happening in Tan Kim Lung’s orchard.
Tan Kim Lung’s durian orchard is located in Seri Jaya, Johor, covers an area of about 15 acres. All the durian trees started from durian seeds of kampung durian. They will only be grafted to premium durian trees when the saplings grow to certain height. Basically, Tan Kim Lung only grafts to Musang King and Ochee varieties.
