WHAT IS YOUR FIRST MEMORY OF TRAVELLING? I was six years old and it was a trip to Abruzzo (1) in Italy to meet my paternal grandparents who never emigrated to Australia. I was mesmerised by the sights, sounds and flavours and the distinct contrast to life in Melbourne.
