At the time of writing, immediately before shipping this issue to the printers with all of our editorial staff along with the bulk of our company heading to Las Vegas to attend SHOT Show 2023, the BATFE dropped their long-anticipated ruling on socalled “pistol braces.” Or, as they now refer to pistols equipped with braces, “unregistered short-barreled rifles.”
