hen you’re a surfer and you think about taking a week-long surf trip on a boat, thoughts typically drift towards places like Indonesia. It’s easy to charter a fishing boat there and surf some of the world’s best waves with 40 others on the peak. It’s a lot less likely that you’d think about heading to the US and British Virgin Islands, sitting peacefully in the southern latitudes, and creating a boundary between the mighty Atlantic and the warm waters of the Caribbean. Short of the world-class spots, like Cane Garden Bay, few immediately envision the area’s unlimited surf breaks and incredible coves and beaches.
