RIDER Jason Slezak

LOCATION Marshall Islands

PHOTOGRAPHER Stu Gibson

Jason: Exploring the Marshall Islands in any form is such a special treat. With only 6,000 tourist visitors a year, it is about as remote and isolated as one can get in the Central Pacific Ocean. The word that most often comes to mind when describing the islands is: amazing. The waves, reefs, fishing, and wind are all amazing. But the sun is intense, so after our long fun filled days on the water during our Reo Stevens M.I. Kite Adventures, one of the best ways to cool off and unwind is a sunset wing foil session off of the beach of Beran Island.

RIDER Jeremy Wilmotte

LOCATION Maroubra Beach, Australia

PHOTOGRAPHER Steve Turner

Jeremy: Paddling into larger waves is slowly becoming my most rewarding foil discipline due to its strategic challenges of overcoming sitting in the impact zone, witnessing sets before others and chipping into a small bump just in time to pump out to the set. Personally, once over 3ft in mostly closeout beach breaks I seem to resort to a medium to large foil size as there is more to gain from being able to pump the extra distance between sets, than achieving one extra turn.

RIDER Xavi Corr

LOCATION Leucate, France

PHOTOGRAPHER Robert Almquist

Xavi: These photos are from an epic session when I was at Leucate, France for a FreeWing training camp before the Mondial du Vent event in April this year. The famous Tramontaña winds were firing, 45kts+ conditions, really similar to my home conditions in Tarifa, Spain. In Leucate, the Tramontaña winds are nearly straight offshore, so it creates really flat water but super strong and gusty conditions. We had a boat for the training session, and I was doing jumps and front flips over the boat with the freshly released 3.5m FreeWing AIR V3.

RIDER Mathis Ghio

LOCATION Langebaan, Cape Town

PHOTOGRAPHER Miriam Joanna

I’d been invited to the Levitaz shoot in Cape Town, South Africa, where we were shooting with Miriam. On this day, we went to Langebaan because it was too windy at the other spots for winging.
