    He’s been the supporting big, blustery beardy bloke in so many films but here, Scottish character actor Jamesgentle autumn romance, part bittersweet family drama. It’s set on an island off the west coast of Ireland but it’s by Finnish director Klaus Härö and scripted by two Scandinavians. Which might explain a frosty emotional reserve and why not a lot of Irish eyes are smiling.
