There will be no lead ban this year

egarding the news piece ‘Lead shot could be banned in the autumn of this year’ (, 21 June), the UK REACH final dossier may be presented by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to Defra this winter, but having consulted with Government ministers, BASC can confirm there are no plans to bring forward any such bill in 2023.
