Physical modeling synth from Erica Synths

The synthesizer developers of Erica Synths, together with the Dutch expertise of 112dB, have announced the new physical modeling synthesizer Steampipe. It is intended to be used to shape analog wind instruments, among other things. The instrument can be played eight times polyphonically and dispenses with conventional oscillators for sound generation. The model includes the three core modules Steam, Pipe and Reverberator. Steam creates the airflow and the associated envelope regulates the force with which it is blown out. DC/Noise is the noise that is obtained when it is blown out.
