“This time three years ago the bike industry was in a crazy gold rush situation as Covid closed everything down apart from the act of riding your bike. That, combined with awesome weather, folk on furlough/working from home and kids off school, saw shops and distributors sell everything they could get their hands on. Bikes and products were selling out before even getting through the door and pricing shot up dramatically. This was compounded by Wuhan’s most famous export choking the supply of components, frames and the raw materials required to make them, at source.
