• 4mm Allen Key • Screwdrivers – flat, crosshead and fine • Long-nose pliers • Hammer and drift • + Lock lube (buy the proper stuff here as it’s designed for the job)

TIME TAKEN

• 4-8 hours

When new, your Bay Window Bus would have had one key to do everything, but it is not uncommon for keys to have been lost, and one or more of the locks to have been changed over the years.

The best course of action is to remove one of the cab door handles and have new keys cut from the code. I use Croma Locksmiths in Southsea (tel. 023 92731770) but try a local locksmith.). However, if you're more of the DIY persuasion, you can have a go yourself.
