When going through the piece on Burly Burlile in this issue I gave myself a memory test. I knew we’d run a feature on his Büffel Bug in an early issue of, but just how early? Well, I’m pleased to report – for the sake of my ageing memory at any rate – that I pulled the appropriate issue out of my archive on just the second attempt. Not a particularly useful skill, admittedly,. After a sporadic start, issues 5 to 8 were bi-monthly, but by May 1989 sales were strong enough to justify a monthly fix of air-cooled goodness from around the globe.
