THE breeding season is in full spate. As is the way for lots of fanciers, it has already brought both highs and lows in my new birdroom: from the early promise of loads of canaries nesting in sync, to natives frustratingly laying eggs on the floor. What a busy first six weeks of the nesting period it has been!
