Plassey Holiday Park is an idyllic campsite situated in the Dee Valley of north Wales, near Wrexham. Not just a luxury holiday park, there is also a retail village and golf course on the complex. The converted Edwardian retail village is home to more than 20 independent traders as well as housing a coffee shop and licensed restaurant. There's also a heated indoor pool, a playground, fishing ponds, badminton, table tennis and a two-mile nature trail.
Pitches are all-weather hardstandings with electric hook-up, with deluxe pitches also having waste water and fresh water connections, plus lighting and TV hook-up. Facilities include toilets, showers, a laundry room and dishwashing area.
For days out, the National Trust's Chirk Castle and the Llangollen Canal are close by. The north Wales coast is within driving distance, as is the city of Chester.
