Have I received Microsoft’s Firefox-fixing update?

Q In Issue 657’s ‘Named & Shamed’ (page 21) you mention a five-year-old flaw in Firefox that Microsoft fixed in April’s Patch Tuesday security update. Following your instructions, I checked Windows Security and found that the Engine Version is marked as ‘0.0.0.0’, suggesting that I haven’t received the update. Is this correct?

Nigel Winter

It soundsautomatically. You can try checking for updates manually by opening Windows Security and clicking ‘Virus & threat protection’ ( in our screenshot below), then clicking ‘Protection updates’ under ‘Virus & threat protection updates’ on the right.
