In late April several owners of AMD Ryzen 7000X3D CPUs began posting online about their now-dead CPUs.
Strikingly, they were shown along with burned and bulging CPU substrates and damaged motherboard sockets.
As users banded together to try and find commonality between the dead CPUs, it soon emerged that all had EXPO memory timings enabled.
