FERRARI PRANCES TO A FAMOUS 24 HOURS VICTORY

Ferrari returned to the top step of the overall podium at Le Mans for the first time since 1965 last weekend after beating pre-race favourite Toyota in a classic Le Mans 24 Hours packed with incident and attrition.

James Calado, Antonio Giovinazzi and Alessandro Pier Guidi held their nerve in a tense finale as a titanic battle developed in the Sunday morning and lunchtime periods between their Ferrari 499P and the #8 Toyota Gazoo Racing GR010 Hybrid hypercar.
