Rhodes Scholar encourages youth

creating a platform

NERISSA Naidoo uses her role as a volunteer at the Nelson Mandela Youth Centre in Chatsworth to create a platform for youth to discover their talents and skills.

Naidoo, 27, from Chatsworth, is completing her Master’s degree in law at Oxford University in England. She is currently in South Africa on a break.

She started volunteering at the youth centre after matriculating from Queensburgh Girls’ High in Malvern, Durban.

She now has a law degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) and a Master’s in law from the Harvard Law School in the US.
