Mike Parsons of Architectural Design Studio was briefed by the home owner to modernise the property in a classic yet contemporary style, using the existing classical features, but creating a modern, open-plan flow. The main challenge was that the house didn't have sufficient patio and outdoor living areas, so redundant formal spaces were redesigned to form covered patio and entertainment areas with all modern amenities.

is a fully integrated facilities management service was responsible for the design of the home's exterior, including the pool, boma, gas fire features and the golf course and garden design. The entire back garden was recreated and reshaped into chipping-and-putting space for the family to enjoy, along with the uninterrupted views of the surrounding golf course.
