VENNA

As an artist, life on the road becomes the norm. Living out of suitcases, choosing between those Air Max 90s and Air Force Ones and terrible instant coffee - it’s not for everyone, but for those who live that life, home rarely feels the same, especially when it’s London.

Venna has just arrived back from a tour of the US. Stopping off in Miami and New York before finishing his trip in LA, he landed back in London a day before our conversation. He’s grateful to be home again, but there’s a restlessness that resides in him, one that has him itching to get back out on the road again.

“Whenever I come back - I feel guilty sometimes because I always have a hundred and one stories. I’m happy to see my mum and my bredrins [but] I don’t really like coming back because nothing changes. It’s the same stuff, same situations.”
