The Isuzu D-Max (and it’s Mazda BT50 twin) is loaded to the hilt with tech, including lane-keeping, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, speed sign recognition and a centre airbag between the front seats to cushion the impact between front occupants in a side-on crash. It’s the first ute – and one of the first vehicles of any type in Australia – with this feature.
