The LDV T60 arrived in Australia in 2017 and was the first ute from China to score a five-star ANCAP safety rating.
It quickly found homes in suburban driveways – delivering record sales year-on-year – thanks to sharp prices and long equipment lists.
But the game has moved on – with stronger and newer competition, including from fellow Chinese brand Great Wall Motors – and LDV has had to up the ante.
