The fifth generation Lexus RX range opens with the RX350h Luxury, at $87,500, with a 184kW 2.4-litre turbopetrol/series parallel hybrid electric/CVT/rear wheel drivetrain. All wheel drive adds $4500 and Sports Luxury specification is $111,900.

F-Sport, tested here at $99,900, runs a 205kW/430Nm 2.4-litre turbopetrol engine matched with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. The Sports Luxury variant is $105,900.

RX500h F-Sport Performance has a 273kW 2.4-litre turbopetrol/parallel hybrid electric/six-speed automatic/all-wheel drivetrain, priced at $126,000.
