It’s been 13 years since Kim Cattrall stepped into Samantha Jones’ gleaming stiletto heels in the last Sex and the movie, 13 long years in which the actress assured fans she’d never wield Samantha’s status-flaunting Birkin handbag again. And just to make sure we all knew she meant business, she took to social media five years ago, branding her former co-star Sarah Jessica Parker as “cruel” and a “hypocrite” – a declaration of war if ever there was one.
