Huawei clearly has the Apple Watch Ultra (see issue 339, p76) in its sights with the Watch Ultimate, with design cues taken from that device and premium outdoor watches by Polar and Garmin. It has a large face and super-tough case that uses a zirconium “liquid metal” alloy that’s said to be harder than titanium. It’s finished in dark grey for the Expedition Black model and shiny silver for the Voyage Blue, which comes with a matching titanium strap.
