YOU WILL NEED Red Milkweed Beetle block

■ Background fabric (blue): one (1) fat quarter

■ Black fabric: one (1) fat eighth

■ Dark red fabric: one (1) fat eighth

■ Medium red fabric: one (1) fat eighth

■ Light red fabric: one (1) fat eighth

■ One (1) copy each of the Red Milkweed Beetle Template Sections A–T

FINISHED SIZE

■ 12½in square

NOTES

■ Seam allowances are ¼in, unless otherwise noted.

■ Press seams to the side, unless otherwise instructed.

■ Templates include seam allowances.

■ RST = right sides together.

■ FPP = Foundation Paper Piecing.

■ Shorten your stitch length to 1.5 for FPP.

■ Read instructions fully before you begin.

■ The finished size listed is the completed block size. Once sewn into a quilt, the finished size will be ½in smaller.
