Take a Kid TRAPPING

Whether it’s taking them fishing, hunting or trapping, you see it in ads and articles in magazines and posters. But what does it really mean? This year I found out what it really means, to me.

I was working on a display promoting trapping for District 1 of the Pennsylvania Trappers Association at our local county fair. The venue, which had invited us to participate, was having a bucket raffle to raise some funds. When they asked me for a donation to the raffle, I really didn’t have any merchandise to donate. While trying to come up with something, it hit me, I had a lot of knowledge to give. This season will be my 60th year trapping and my 47th year as a member of the Pennsylvania Trappers.
