MOGAMAD Salie lived most of his life not knowing he was autistic.
He went on to matriculate from high school and graduate with a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Cape Town. Salie then worked in Switzerland and Europe, married and started a family.
However, he always felt different and disconnected from people. It was at the age of 45 that he was diagnosed with autism.
