For Bafta award-winning actress Jodie Comer, beauty is about “comfort” and “feeling content”. And she’s inspired by her scouse mum’s steadfast approach to self-care: “My mother taught me that consistency is key. She would always moisturise her face and body when she got out of the shower. It was a ritual of hers that she always stuck to.”
As Jodie takes up temporary residency in, she still finds time to look after her skin: “The best piece of beauty advice I’ve been given is to always wash your face in the evening when you’ve had make-up on. I definitely didn’t practise that in my teens and now it’s the first thing I do when I get home, it doesn’t matter how late it is.”
