Writer, activist Govender honoured

THE Late writer extraordinaire Sathiseelan Gurilingam “Ronnie” Govender was described as a key player in the fight for liberation through the large body of work that he produced.

Guest speakers were sharing their fondest memories of Govender and his work at a memorial yesterday afternoon, held at the 1860 Heritage Centre in Derby Street, Durban.
