We know you as the face of the WSBK Paddock Show. How did you get into bikes?

When I was a kid I used to hate bikes – I was scared of the noise! We had a road circuit nearby called Oliver’s Mount; it’s maybe a three or four-mile course in Scarborough, a little village on the coast. I was five or six and mum and dad told us we were going to Scarborough and my sister and I thought it was to visit the beach, not to watch motorcycle racing.
