Putting theory into practice

It’s well into autumn and we are at the end of a long dry spell. Rain is forecast later in the day. The police are warning drivers of dangerous conditions on wet roads during the evening.

So, I’m off to the forestry land I help manage, to see if there is breeze preceding the rain band and whether I can make a cool burn run, reducing forest fuels under the tall eucalypts.
