TRUE-LIFE
Reaching the peak of Ben Nevis in August 2020, I admired the view of the mountain range below.
‘We did it!’ my son Caeden, then 8, cheered as he high-fived his dad Alan, 38.
As our other two kids, Khya, then 10, and Ashton, 8, caught up, along with our dog Tesha, we had a big family hug.
Climbing to the top of Britain’s highest mountain was an incredible achievement for all of us.
It was extra special for Caeden, who was born with cerebral palsy.
