olden V-chassis utes in the 1990s had a lot going for them, but owner Tim Youngman wanted something more aesthetically pleasing for his one. Even though it was manual and powered by Holden’s own Iron Lion 304ci, it was still missing some of the apparel Tim was after. He’s owned the ute for 11 years now, and for the first year and a half, it spent most of its days as the daily commuter, on occasion hauling Tim’s dirt bikes around North Canterbury. It was during this time that he started to make some real changes to the ute.
