REPEAT OFFENDERS

It only seems five minutes ago that the film series ended (actually Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 came out in July 2011), and already the Harry Potter books are to be remade, this time as a multi-season streaming show for what until recently was known as HBO Max, and is now just called Max. With the approximately 500th BBC adaptation of Great Expectations just finished (well, the third one in 24 years), Writing Magazine thinks it would be nice if the same popular novels didn’t keep getting filmed over and over again, or at least, not so often.

DEFENDING OFFENDING
