Knock knock

The move to sustainable motoring, and motor racing, has taken an unexpected turn in the last few weeks, with car manufacturers in the UK asking the British government to re-negotiate an element of the Brexit deal to allow them to meet European targets for producing electric cars.

The issue is that 40 per cent of an electric vehicle’s parts by value are required to be built in its home area to avoid an import tarif that will increase from 10 per cent to 45
