Li Yunze, former Vice Governor of Sichuan Province, has been appointed to head the newly formed National Administration of Financial Regulation (NAFR).

Born in Yantai, Shandong Province, in September 1970, Li worked at the China Construction Bank and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, two of the country’s leading state-owned banks, before becoming a senior official in the Sichuan Provincial Government.
