t seems like just yesterday that a little freckle-faced kid named Riley Pavey was coming into our office in his school uniform, racking bags of lollies from the neighbouring convenience store and asking us who had the next Slam cover. Riley was the grom full of questions who was always eager to skate, often scouring Google Maps for potential spots and trekking solo from the Gold Coast to Brisbane for weekend sessions. At 20, Riley is still young, but he has grown up a bit. He moved from the Gold Coast to Melbourne after he finished school and has spent the past year travelling internationally as a sponsored skateboarder. A true skate rat, he has progressed like crazy.
