WATER MUSIC

STORE CUPBOARD

■ 5 or more glass bottles

■ Food colouring

■ Water & pencil

1 Line up the glasses or bottles in a row. Pour increasing amounts of water into each one.

2 Use the pencil to tap the glass with the least amount of water. Listen to the sound. Gently hit each of the remaining glasses and notice the tone increasing in depth.Try producing a tune by hitting the glasses in a certain order.

HOW IT WORKS
