On Target Africa

Namibian National Championship

The initiative was born on the back of a successful IPRF World Championship in August last year. In preparation for South Africa hosting the International Precision Rifle Federation (IPRF) 2024 Precision Rifle World Championship, the need was identified to expose NAPRA members to international competition.

In line with members’ development and exposure, other federations and associations might not be familiar with our class structure. We have a development programme to include up-and-coming shooters to allow them to evolve based on progressions in target sizes, time allowed and round count. The progression includes Casual Class, then Evolution Class and finally IPRF with all the classes competing separately but shooting shoulder to shoulder within the squads to promote skills transfer.
