    With 3.75mm needles, cast on 101 (109, 117, 125, 133) sts.

    Row 1: RS - *P1, k1; rep from * to last st, p1.

    Row 2: *K1, p1; rep from * to last st, k1. Change to 4.00mm needles.

    Beg Lower Edge Pattern

    Row 1: RS - *P3, k1-yo-k1 into next st; rep from * to last st, p1.

    Row 2: K1; *p3, k3; rep from * to end.

    Row 3: *P3, k3; rep from * to last st, p1.

    Row 4: K1; *p3tog, k3; rep from * to end.

    Row 5: P.

    Row 6: K.

    Row 7: P1; *k1-yo-k1 into next st, p3; rep from * to end.

    Row 8: *K3, p3; rep from * to last st, k1.

    Row 9: P1; *k3, p3; rep from * to end.

    Row 10: *K3, p3tog; rep from * to last st, k1.

    Row 11: P.

    Row 12: K.

    Rep these 12 rows until piece measures approx 15-16cm from beg, end with a row 6 or 12 of patt.

    RS: K7 (9, 5, 6, 6), (k2tog, k15 (16, 13, 14, 15)) 5 (5, 7, 7, 7) times;
