"There are a number of conservation charities across Africa that find it useful to open their doors to allow visitors to 'help out' and get 'hands on' in order to raise awareness and boost fundraising. As a tourist there is a natural desire to want to help in some way, but it is often hard to know which are genuine and which are not. Some guidance on which are genuine would be useful."
