Now I Have Time to Paint

Talented Australian artist Ian Brown was born in Sydney in 1941 and moved to South Australia when he was eight, and for the last seven and a half years has lived at Mount Gambier in the South East of South Australia with his wife of 47 years, Yvonne. They have four children and seven grandchildren.

For the past 35 years Ian has worked in a number of nursing positions and last month retired from general nursing, but continues for one day a week as a project “Blood Safe” Clinical Nurse for his Region. Other career positions throughout 50 years of work have included farming, missionary work in Ethiopia and serving as a Baptist minister in South Australia.
