CANARIES
AFTER receiving good feedback on my article in the May 3 Cage & Aviary Birds, I’ve written an update from the Clun and International Studs here in North Wales. Although I have used normal pairings for many years, I do occasionally run trios. When each pair has been made, I keep careful records regarding the first egg laid, hatching, how many chicks, and so on. I use a book for this, but I also have the details of each pair written on their feed hopper. This saves having to look in my record book every time.
