WEST MIDLAND GLOSTER ASSOCIATION

THE run-up to the third West Midland Gloster Association exhibition in 2022 was once again overshadowed by another potential disaster: the annual outbreak of avian influenza (AI), which was building towards a national lockdown by DEFRA/APHA regarding the movement of cage birds.

Remember, this should have been the sixth exhibition but natural disasters meant cancellation of three previous events. Monitoring of AI rules and restriction zones determined that 2022 was looking “good to go".
