NO ROOM TO RESCHEDULE AXED EMILIA ROMAGNA GRAND PRIX AFTER FLOODING CAUSES CANCELLATION

This year’s Formula 1 schedule is set to drop to 22 races following the cancellation of last weekend’s race in Imola due to severe flooding.

With such a congested calendar, F1 bosses were unable to find a free weekend to reschedule the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in 2023 so the event is likely to be given an extra year on top of its current contract and will host a race in 2026.
