CATCHWISE

Catchwise is a new survey of sea angling taking place across England and Wales in 2023 and 2024. The project has been co-developed with sea anglers and aims to significantly improve the recognition of the sport’s impact and its value to coastal communities. It will improve data used for relevant fisheries management decisions with more accurate data on catches and releases and show sea angling’s social and economic value.
