However, GPS devices still have their place, and of the three big brands: Magellan, TomTom, and Garmin, only Garmin is widely available in South Africa. We are therefore limited to discussing this brand’s range of GPS devices. We also uploaded eight navigation apps on a smartphone and list the four that work the best.
