A BIT ABOUT ME
I'm Sophia Ferrai-Wills, 35, a midwife/ health visitor and content creator @thiscolourfulnest. I live with my husband, Chris, and our two girls, Clementine, four, and Hermione, two.
WHERE I LIVE
Our home is a five-bedroom house in a quiet, scenic village in Bedfordshire. It looks like an old cottage, but it actually only dates back to the 1960s. We moved here in October 2019.
WHAT I WANTED TO CHANGE
Everything! No, not quite. But we did detest the magnolia walls, dark wood of the bannister, kitchen and doors. I couldn't stand the terracotta tiles but now the house is lighter and brighter, they're not as bad and bearable until we renovate this summer.
HOW I MADE IT MY OWN
I decofated it in all of my favourite colours and prints.
