LEVEL PLAYING FIELD

UNLIKE Dr Fairhurst (letters, 27 April, “Wake Up Call”) I believe one of the great joys of British Eventing (BE) is amateurs competing against Olympians on a completely level playing field. I still dine out on the tale of chasing Tina Cook around the Portman cross-country and being told my horse went through the water better than hers.
